So withe the recent change to having a section just for seedbox g/a's I am wondering where I should post a seedbox competition. Is it ok to post that in the competition section or should it remain the the seedbox g/a section.

Keyword being competition, I'd post it into the competition section, but really it's up to you to decide.
I'll second el2em that's where I'd put it. As it is a competition and the competitions prizes aren't always invites
I've got to agree with the first two posts. However you can also join the IRC and get in contact mod just to make sure
