    Default utorrent does not seem to install on Windows 7 ?

    I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate N and tried installing utorrent but it says

    "utorrent is not a valid win32 application"



    how do i get utorrent running ?

    i am using utorrent on Windows 7 without any problem. re-download it from its official site and try to reinstall it.

    Your download might have been incomplete or corrupted when you run the installation file. Try downloading the same file as bunuvercem has suggested and re-install. If you still get the same error, try a different download mirror from the website. HTH.

    I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and uTorrent works just fine (I have both 64 and 32 bit). I'm guessing something went wrong when you downloaded uTorrent and you need to download it again. You may need to use a different browser to do the download because your browser may still get the same corrupted file from the cache (I've seen this behavior before)

    Please don't consider this as spam, I just feel I should to explain what happened.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Honestly, all I wanted to do is help, I definitely wasn't trying to spam the thread with meaningless talk, I just thought I would back what bunuvercem said and mention the 32-bit & 64-bit just in case, I also wanted to suggest downloading uTorrent using a different browser because in my experience the same browser will always get the same file that was downloaded previously from cache.
