Thread: Opinions on how not to get screwed?

So I joined TI and I LOVE this community. I finally got enough upload and such to give back after everyone was so generous to let me into trackers and the one guy I invited screwed me over. Most of my trackers are low level trackers and ones I actually use because I'm not a collector and don't really have ones just for invites or ratio proofs or anything. I kind of feel like a mooch because i haven't really given away any more invites, mostly because the ptp invites i gained up are useless because i got banned because of him. So my question is , is it unreasonable to ask for multiple ratio proofs on low level trackers, or is it acceptable to put invites to sites like tvtorrents and bitgamer in the mid level section? I finally got more invites I'm just trying to think of ways to protect myself because I want to give back but i don't want to lose any more of my trackers.

Really sorry to hear that mate. Thats my biggest worry about giving away invites and then finding out i've been banned due to one specific twat!
Not at all, you can ask for as many ratio proofs as you like. I assume you put him on the chopping block?
Remember your not obliged to give out invites. If you feel someone might be a scammer just don't give them and invite. Only go for the ones you feel you can trust from their iGiver, post history, IRC activity etc.
