Thread: how to get rss for a webui utorrent

hello guys
so i'm usin a seedbox that uses utorrent but ofcourse it doesn't have rss in it
when i contacted the support they said that to have rss feed & auto download i should get VNC access which is almost the price of another seedbox
so is there a way to get rss auto download for torrents in utorrent webui 0.361 without VNC access ?

As you can see at the uTorrent forum at WebUI v0.362 WIP - Forums - µTorrent - The Lightweight and Efficient BitTorrent Client, they are currently adding support for RSS feeds in the webUI. When it is finally implemented, it is only a matter of asking them to update uTorrent :D Before that, there is no way to use RSS through the WebUI, you'll need Remote Desktop, VNC or any kind of remote control application that shows you the real desktop.

at the moment, no, you cannot do it. Moreover, if the VNC access costs you that much, change a provider, or at least, tell them your intention, my seedbox provider charges me nothing for VNC access.

i heard somethings about irc script & that it can do the job even faster than rss

Yes thats 100 % true. Auto download scripts are a lot faster then RSS and can be used with any uTorrent Webui. They can be very difficult to set up and to understand for some people though. U should look into if the tracker u want to use the RSS feature on has any auto scripts in there forum. Once u find out that its all about setting it up and getting it to work.
