Thread: Igiver question - tracker IP range banned

Ok I just recently received an invite for a tracker from a giveaway (it was low level) but I couldn't create an account because my IP range (***.edu) was banned from their site and tracker because other people used it as proxies. I tried to talk to the admins in IRC channel and they were trying to help me but we came to the conclusion that without me acquiring a static IP (which I cannot do) they cannot lift the ban, so the invite is wasted.

My question is whether or not should i Igiver my inviter? If not what should I do?

Well I would think that because the invite was sent it would be the right thing to do to leave an Igiver. Perhaps though, in the comments you could state thanks for the invite but wasn't able to sign up, or something along those lines.

That way if another user checks they will see the reasons why.

Unless a mod or a admin says otherwise i don't see any reason why you shouldn't, he/she was nice enough to give you the opportunity even if it didn't work out.
