Thread: Xirvik won't connect to Waffles?

Has anyone else had a problem with Xirvik not connecting to Waffles?
I'm using one of his shared box plans. So I can't really mess around with too many settings, Seeing as how I don't have access.
I added him on MSN just waiting for him to accept, But am posting in here because maybe I'm missing something or maybe someone else has had this problem?

You can just pm xirvflux in IRC.
Also, have you set the waffles tracker to SSL?
Do you have vpn setup with xirvik?

I highlighted him in IRC. Just waiting for him to come back, I guess he's not here right now.

No I havnt enable SSL on there.. Should I? Would it fix it you think?
And nah I don't have VNC access. And I'm using TFlux..

Edit: I just tried to connect with SSL enabled and it still isn't working :(

Works fine for me without any problems

Visit waffles.fm using the HTTP Proxy, then download the .torrent file, and re-upload it to torrentflux.

Hey, I tried that too and it did'nt work. Do you know wich country your seedbox is in?. Mine is in the US and apparently some US ISPs block a few trackers, One of them being waffles. :(

i have semi dedi and waffles works fime for me

The same thing happened to me on one of my trackers. It ended up being the client version installed on the box was banned by the tracker. I had to upgrade utorrent and then i was able to connect. Check to see if thats the cause.

Xirvik uses Tornado and Transmission (for shared). I used tornado and it worked fine.

My seedbox is in Luxembourg, EU... :D
Try asking Xirvik to move it, they're usually pretty good about that.
