Thread: Demonoid problem

Hello everybody, I really hope someone can help me with this problem... I've recently rented a seedbox, and i uploaded some torrents to start testing it but I realized demonoid didn't seem to really keep track of my DL and UL so I added about 4 torrents to test it, I'm rechecking it after around 10 hours and I found out that my Demonoid acc says 0.00 downloaded and 0.00 uploaded, do anyone know what could be hapening?

Demonoid updates the ratios once a day so you need to wait a bit longer.

It took 2 days for me once, don't worry, it will show to you

1) The Demonoid Tracker MUST have your PRESENT IP Address, associated with your Demonoid Account.
2) After the Demonoid Tracker has your PRESENT IP Address, you must send the "event=stopped" message, for each torrent tracked by Demonoid.

To associate the current IP with your account

LOG OUT of your Demonoid account
Clear the Browser Cache & Cookies
Log in to Demonoid
Navigate around (a few clicks should do) to ensure the tracker has you identified.

To send the event=stopped message from your torrent client

Once you've associated your IP with your account, DO NOT EXIT your torrent client.
First you have to press STOP on each of the torrents in your torrent client that are using the Demonoid tracker.
This sends the "event=stopped" message to the tracker with your ratio stats for that particular torrent (since you last stopped the torrent).
Wait a short time, then you can restart the torrents, or exit the torrent client.

Hopefully your ratio should be updated within 24 HOURS."

yea with demonoid only login from one ip. Demonoid sucks a big one when it comes to keeping track of ratios. Since there are so many people on demonoid the tracker can take forever to update your ratio and you may lose some credit. Ive lost 20gb upload credit on demonoid before, but to be honest its not a big deal. For one its demonoid, secondly its a tracker that has a ratio system but doesnt require you to maintain a minimum ratio so you will never be banned for having a crappy ratio. In my opinion, get invites to good sites like tl, revo, scc, etc and use your seedbox on those sites.

I think Demonoid just does a terrible job of tracking upload. I once uploaded over 300GB within 24 hours on blu-ray Planet Earth and NONE of it registered. And that was just the worst experience, there has been others. I don't see why you're bothering wasting seedbox space with demonoid anyways. Nobody cares about ratios earned there, if you applied for one of my giveaways with a demonoid proof I'd completely disregard it.

If your using a seedbox u need to remote connect to your box using some type of remote connection software (Vnc) and login to Demonoid that way. U need to login via seedbox. This will associate your seedbox ip address with your account. U also need to follow the steps above posted by JamieR. If u cant remote connect to your box then im afraid your ratio will not update. Like mentioned above it really doesnt matter about ratio there anyway.
