Problem with 720p movies
I am having problems with playing 720p movies on my laptop..I used to play it and it used to work great before the last few days..VLC is not helping me either..video playback problem..m using Vostro1500 with 2GHz processor and 2gb ram..somebody help me..
Be more detailed. What kind of video playback problem are you having? Stuttering? Error Message? What players have you tried? Have you installed a codec pack? Have you tried this with other types of movies or just 720p and mkv?
try install the latest codec, I have been using k-lite package and it has never failed me.

Guys..m using the latest codec pack..n as already mentioned VLC used to play 720p movies in a great way a few days backl..now its not working that much great..m getting lagging of video, stuttering
Also all other formats are working great..i am having problem only with 720p
try using " km player "....i guess it might solve ur problem....

try using media player classic.....its the best for viewing hd movies
you could try media player classic or km player. you could uninstall your current video player and install them again. that should fix the problem.

I can play 720p movies with the use of GOM Player..but still having probs with other players such as WMP,Media player classic,VLC,KM
it's right i use always GOM Player and i haven't problem
it's simple to use he is very useful
Google and download the following:
MPC HC
Haali mediasplitter
AC3 Filter
FFDShow Codec
Or
CCCC pack+MPC(don't know if that's included?)
If you still have problems after that, download CoreAVC, it'll calm down the processors a bit I think.
