    Default Help with uTorrent dilemma

I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I am having with uTorrent. I am running Vista 64 SP1 and when setting up utorrent initially I followed all the directions at portforward. The problem when doing this was I was not able to use my internet browser while I had forwarding active but I could download from uTorrent. Just today the only thing different I did was run an update for AVG and I lost ALL uploading capabilities. I have tried everything, I disabled my firewall, windows defender, I uninstalled AVG, NOTHING it shows that I am not connectable. I have since installed NOD 32 and made an exception for utorrent, but still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what Im doing wrong and how to fix this as my ratio is being killed as I cannot upload!

Using uTorrent shouldn't prevent you from using your browser.

Use a port for uTorrent in a different range than the default. See if that works, I have mine set to 58927

Also what version of uTorrent are you using?

Need help? PM me and I'll find you the answer.

I figured changing the port would help but ultimately my problem is that I still have no incoming connections.

You probably failed opening ports. Read their(portforward) guides carefully, google a bit, read tracker FAQs about what you should turn off in µtorrent and not. This will probably solve your problem. I think I had a similar problem with opening sites after forwarding, but can't recall how I solved it. I think I did it all again actually=P

The thing is though when you go to the uTorrent speed guide option in the preferences, they have a little box you can click that says "test if port is forwarded correctly" and if it isn't it will tell you that it's not.

I think the original poster would have seen that, but perhaps you're right.

Here you go, I've taken a screenshot to see if I can help at all. Hope it's some assistance

Edit: Wow, glad this came up, I just realized I wasn't set to the right settings, my uploads are going much faster now.
