Thread: the thanks button!

Right so I would like to say thanks to the guy who repped me in:001_smile:
But I cant find the thanks button I have read all the faqs including the above excellent sticky by adenai that states It's located in the bottom-right corner of each post along with: quote quote reply button for me its not there I have been searching for it for the last 2 hours and its driving me mad knowing me I am probably just being incredibly thick so can somebody help me out.

How many thanks have you given out today as there is a limit you can give within a 24 hour period.

But it is always down on the bottom right of a post next to the quote with reply buttom.

Edit: you also can't thank posts in the intro forum, you'll need to find a post of his elsewhere and thank that.

yeah havent given out any thanks coz i cant find it!
should I say thanks just in the initiall introduction thread i started?

yeah cheers for all your help I didnt think you was supposed too in the intro forum I shall do as you suggest staffrodore and search out a post of his.
Im now pressing my imaginary thanks button to you both!

Your case might shed some light on whether it is truly available since the day one or maybe there's a minimum non-standard requirement we're not aware of (like 24h since being repped in, 7 days on a site or 20 posts, or something). Let us know once you see it and tell us what changed - it's right next to QREPLY button, so no need to look for it hard. It's there or not.

Ehhm, that's not true. You have to have a 33% rank to rep someone via the silver-balance-weight-thingy(you can also neg rep with that thingy),but you can still rep by thanking posts when you're under 33%..

We know that. He doesn't. That's not the point.
