    Default Question about Multiple Requests.

I've looked for an answer on this, but I haven't been able to find any. I'm sorry if this have been answered before.

First of all, I know I'm not allowed to post requests yet. But I'm still wondering...

.. What is your view of making several (more than one) request in the same thread? With other words; on the same time.

I've seen a few with two requests, but mostly it's just one.

    Thanks in advance.

The rules of the Request Section state that you're allowed to make one request per week and I guess they assume that 1 request = 1 thread.

If some ppl put two in one thread they're obviously bending the law a bit, but I guess no warn = no harm, but as you said - most requests (99%?) are single and there's a reason for that. Stick to it.

Dont forget it's also only one thread per week for requests.

Makes sense. However, imo it should become a rule. Sure, people are able to think logically; that there should be only one request per thread, otherwise the whole purpose of 1 thread/week is lost. But it's still good to have a note on it in the rule thread.

With a little misunderstanding a person could post a
"[Request] GFT, What.CD, TL, Whatever, Whatever"
    Or just two requests,
And the rules doesn't really state that it's not allowed.

So a short line in the Request Section Rules would make things more clear.

But IT IS a rule. To make a request = to start a [REQ] thread. As simple as it sounds. You just unnecessarily differentiate these things into separate actions, but they are not in case of Request section.

One request per week is pretty damn lenient. I mean, unless you're a collector, this shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Also, before requesting, just take a look at the giveaways section and see if your tracker of "choice" is there. Obviously, no one will have an FTN x10, but sometimes What.cd or RevTT (things like that) are given away quite often. Main point: It's best to just stick to the 1 REQ/week rule instead of trying to bend it.

I'm not sure if you, and gigaleech, have understood me right here. And maybe I'm understanding you two wrong here, but I'm not looking for a way to bend the rules here. I'm perfectly fine with one request per week, and I think it should stay that way. So I'm not sure what your point is. And to make it even clearer; I'm only looking for one (possibly two) tracker invites atm.

And about the.. It is a rule. Yes it is. But it's pretty much an unwritten rule.
I don't see it in this text (quoting the "Request Section Rules" thread), unless it falls under the "common sense",

"Users may only post ONE thread per week. Any more will result in all threads being deleted and will get you an infraction not to mention that you will not be allowed to post a thread until a new thread until a week later. Make the forums look nicer, merge your posts, stop bumping your threads in less than 48 hours and just use some common sense. Please."

Maybe it's written somewhere else and I've missed it. If so, I apologize.

Edit: One more thing. When I said that "it should become a rule".. I mean in Written form.

I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just saying that:

Users may only post ONE thread per week
    - means making ONE REQUEST per week. It's kind of obvious because to make a request = to start a (request) thread. That's why I said that you unnecessarily differentiate these actions - in case of the Request Section they are one and the same. That's all.

I understand that - because you've seen multiple request threads - you might get confused, but it's the other ppl who got it wrong and bent the rules. So I kind of support your idea to clarify that to prevent others from furhter misunderstandings.

Then we're all good. I guess I turned the thread to a suggestion thread instead, lol.

    Thanks for your replies.
