Thread: kimsufi help

Hi,

I need some help to connect by VNC to my server... I read this tutorial (BitTorrent NaQ's Complete Setup Guide for Linux Seedboxes (Fedora Core/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu) - FileSharing Talk) but I got the 10061 error

I start the vnc server:

ptseeder@ksxxxxxx:~$ vncserver

I changed my server acc and ip server to xxx on quoted text!

i would suggest that if you are going to go that route that you use NXclient and FreeNX to connect to your server rather than VNC, its alot wasier to get working properly.

and if your using ubuntu there is a bunch of good tuts on it..

Bitzilla, be sure that when u get this issue fixed that you post the resolution here so that if anyone else happens to have the same problem they can refer to this thread.

I guess its a font problem, see above.

And i also tried for VNC but it didn't worked here, log said Display X couldn't be found, the servers off course don't got graphics card and VNC renders the desktop. I suggest you to use NX. Its good and secure. :)
