Thread: Help im new to cross seeding

Can Someone point me in the direction of a tutorial on howto CROSS SEED.

I am new on TL and i need to keep my ratio up. With these wait times, we all know how hard it can be!

It would be greatly appreciated. I have looked through the forum and google but to no avail

What I did when I first joined was to pick up some older shows like Heroes there are many that you can access now and have a good number of leachers so you can seed them well. Onceyou get to 7 gigs ul all wait times are removed as long as you keep a .95 ratio.

First you find a torrent on TL with a decent amount of leechers, then you find the same torrent (exact torrent name, exact file size, and exact file structure) on a public site (mininova) or a private tracker site that you could afford to download off of (ex. Demonoid). Download the file and wait till it finished 100%. Now download the same torrent from TL and save in the directory that you saved your orginal torrent file. Now you shoud see the torrent starts to hashe and then if will say 100% done and immediatly is will start seeding to TL.

No. Not at all. As of matter of fact some trackers have tutorials on how to do it. Doing this helps both the seeders and leechers speed, not to mention the ratio builder.

i got a question. i downloaded some file that i'll use for cross seeding but the NFO file wasn't rechecked, meaning it was different. so the overall torrent was not 100% complete. but if i just skip the NFO, i'll get 100%. won't it affect my seeding? i mean, even if i don't have 100% of the files, will leechers still connect to me?
