Thread: Xbox 360 Hacking?

Im looking to hack my Xbox so I can play burned games on it.

Has anyone done this, and if so can you point me to the tutorial you used?

Go to xbox-scene. It has everything you need. Thats what I used. What drive do you have?

Im not sure, I have the Halo 3 Limited Edition console.

I could get you more info if you need it, Im just not sure what info to give you :)

This. As for burning games I think you'll have to look elsewhere I think they have a piracy rule...not so sure I haven't checked the site in awhile.

I also recommend to read about the iextreme firmware I believe the latest is now 1.6, you have to have the latest firmware if you wanna play the latest of games due the wave3 protection n crap.

Oh and if you have questions about going on xbox live with a modded 360...is basically go on live at your own risk there is no guarantee that you will/won't be banned.

I dont have a Live subscription anymore which is why Im modding it.

Ill have a look at that iextreme, but I still dont know which drive I have.

Check out these 2 links and see if any of those match your drive. Btw do you know when you purchased your 360? and does it have an HDMI port? You could look at manufacturing dates and see which drive you would have through that as well. I'll see if I can find that link if you can't identify your drive through these 2 pictures.

What you actually want to do is flash
your drive (not mod it as modding would suggest something else)... its flashed all through firmware.
