Thread: RSS Downloader in Utorrent

Hey im trying to get RSS working and i have set it up so that i get the TV/DVDRIP from SCC.

In the RSS tab i see SCC and the torrents are all there, but its not downloading automatically. Can i set it up so it does that?



Also how often does the RSS check for updates?? And can i change this value.

default is 15 min. go to options, advanced, rss.update.interval (near bottom of list)

set it to 5 (that's the lowest value it can go)

right click on all feeds then RSS downloader.

Then set the key words up like *Dexter*.
Select quality etc.
Then save it.

Ok i got it downloading automatically, but how do i set it so that i don't download the stuff that is already out and only the stuff that is coming out.

Since it it freeleech i want to download everything that comes out of that category :)

Wow 5 minutes seems like a really long time. All the leechers will be gone by then :(. Is there a quicker way of adding torrents besides using RSS? I see everyone on SCC download and seed the torrents right away.

Those guys use an mirc script that grabs the torrents from the instant IRC announces. I'm not a member there but from heard they have the info on their forums. For that, you have to idle on the channel in order for the script to work.

Be careful as some sites only allow every 15 minutes for refresh. Setting it to 5 may get you banned. Its best to use an IRC script. :)

I tried using the IRC script for SCC but i gave up lol :(
