Default Some good bouncers for IRC?

    Hi fellow T-I junkies.

I'm making my way into IRC, still a noob on some aspects although i used it several times in the past (but forgot everything).

At the moment, i'm using some public proxies to log in but of course, they aren't reliable and downtimes can happen totally randomly.

So, i made my little research and found infos on bouncers. I don't have a dedi and can't use anything like ZNC.

That leads me to my main question : are there any good bouncer providers or something like this that i could use?

You can try irccloud. There are plenty of invites available for that service in Area 51 (misc) i believe.

I'm using IRCcloud at the moment, did not like their interface, but as long that a way to go to irc, i'm on it.

Not sure if you're looking for a bouncer to stay connected all the time or because you're afraid of your connection location being revealed.
If it's the latter, you can always request a vHost on a per-network basis.

Most networks support it (and some trackers, by default, set you one with your user class in it)
Once yours is requested and approved, it sets itself every time you auth yourself with nickserv

Generally, the command to request one is:
    Code:
    /msg hostserv request whatever.vhost.you.want.here

mIRC isnt a bouncer such as ZNC. its a chat client. Maybe you mean you connect to your bouncer via mIRC?

    Hey mate
I got some problem like keep disconnecting all the time or some time it just freezes. So one of our TI member added me to his ZNC since than i didnt got any problem at all. Plus i never miss any chat when i am away. There are alot more options which i bet you will like. So you should try znc.

I should have been more precise. In fact, i want to use a bouncer with my IRC client, KVIrc.

Problem is, i don't have access to someone with a server and ZNC on it and i can't install it on my seedbox slot...

I won't say i'm afraid, but i'd like to hide my real IP which is clearly visible when i connect to the IRC channels. I looked on the web to know more about vHost and it could be a nice solution so thank you for the suggestion.
