Default deluge microsoft visual c++ runtime error

I tried running deluge on windows server 2008 R2. But it seems to error out with a program has caused microsoft visual c++ runtime to close in an unusual way.
It seems to point to libglib-2.0-0.dll. I have read and others have had the same error, and some said to install ipv6, but that seems to already be enabled. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem, and if they were able to come up with a different solution.

I was going to blame DEP Change Data Execution Prevention settings
but you mentioned libglib-2.0-0.dl, so I'm inclined to suggest GTK issues. Deluge has an FAQ section talking about just this issue and some others:

Thanks for the help. Yea, many users have the same problem. I've read through a few times on the questions with others having this same issue, and they never really get a straight answer.

    So did you try?

    • Uninstall the GTK2 Runtime
    • Delete the C:\Program Files\GTK2-Runtime directory (or where ever it was installed)
    • Reinstall GTK+

What about using debug level logging (also in those FAQs) to see what deluge logs before / during crash?
