Thanks. :)
Yes, this is also what I was wondering. I'm happy with PHD, but one place won't allow me to upload if it's not .mkv, which's why I like SCC and IPT and am wondering what else is out there. I've noticed the groups Details, Moviestars, NoLimts and penandpike do small .mkvs, but am still wondering what else is out there when it comes to .mkvs.
So the 4GB 1080p rips look good on a 46" TV?
I usually get CHD or HDChina's 10-14GB+ uploads or AMIABLE's 8GB rips..
My TV's not that big, though my friend has told me he likes the quality on his. I can't see his, as he's in another country.
Doesn't have to be 4GB only. Pretty much interested in any other blu-ray 1080p scene places.
I'm happy with Amiable, LCHD, MELiTE, CiNEFiLE, HD1080, FSiHD, HD4U, Japhson, etc, etc, etc.
All you've listed are scene groups. The scene have set rules for their encodes so they're all the same size. You could find these releases anywhere. The closest one to SCC is probably SceneHD. Besides that, you got FTN, GFT, TL, RTT, IPT, etc.
Just curious to see if anyone knows, but is there any picture quality etc loss with a 4gig 1080p rip?
If not, than why doesn't everyone do 4gig (ish) 1080p rips? or more often atleast....
