    Default not seeding

    Dear helper,

    I´m trying to build up some ratio by 'double cross-seeding': moving some (good seeding) torrents from one place (home) to another (work), with a better link, to seed from both places, but in this new place they are not seeding at all. Torrents here seed just when downloading (other torents did), after that nothing happens. I read:

    But I don´t think they explain.



    Por forwarding for a private trackers, is it mandatory? Because I can't have it here, but I've already seeded 15.6TB from here and now (that I'm using a private tracker, yes I'm a n00b), nothing, zilch, nada.

    Double cross-seeding? I could be wrong, but I don't think trackers like it when you try to seed the same files simultaneously from two different locations.

    Usually the tracker or your client will say you're not connectable if you have some issues with port forwarding. It could simply be because the leechers have all become seeders and bits sent to peers have become completely saturated among all connectable users.

    Are you getting any type of error? What tracker(s) are you trying to leech/seed from? What file is it? Is it popular? How many peers are you connected to?

    Probably not the issue, but have you tried stopping the same torrent at home and only seeding from your work address?

    Double cross-seeding: I'm not planning doing that forever, I don't have enought slots (50) to do something like this, so I would do just while I'm moving them to not loose precious leechers.

    Connection is green here.
    Update: Nope, connection was green, in last setup guide it was green, now it's orange. Think the problem is found. But something is not well, just repeated 4 times, green in one and in the last uTorrent process died. Right, I'll dig some info about that.

    I wasn't.

    What tracker(s) are you trying to leech/seed from?
    TVT.com (normal and premium)

    What file is it?
    One of them: The.Killing.S02E03.Repack.HDTV.xvid-fqm.avi

    Is it popular?
    S=623 L=218

    How many peers are you connected to?
    I'm trying to seed and at home now I have something around 4 peers downloading from me, but they come and go.

    Yes, I did and nothing happened for 20 minutes.

    But, as I said, it might be something with the network. I'm one of the IT guys and I do use some unused band here (100Mbits band for a 15Mbits usage) but I won't redirect a port from a Cisco router, it's not fair.

    But a tunnel might fix this...

    Update: now connection in uTorrent is red, telling that firewall is limitting my traffic...
