Thread: Spotify Outside of Sweden

So i've used spotify for 14 days in the US, and signed up through a proxy. Now it says that my current country doesn't match the one i set in my profile, and it won't let me log into the app. I know there must be a way to use the app through a proxy, but I have no idea how. Anyone else having this problem/know how to fix it?

Which proxy service were you using.

It was just some Swedish web proxy that i used to sign up, but I can't log in from the actual app now. There has to be a way to make the connection look as if it's coming from Sweden (if that makes sense), does anyone know how to do this??

Hi gigaleeech try to set your profile to your real country it worked for me :]

OK, so i tried to do this:

1. The only country that appears in the country list for me is Sweden; there's no other option to change too.
2. If it were possible for me to change it, I would have to buy the premium, because the free version isn't allowed in the US.

Any other suggestions?

did u try to change it with a proxy cuz if u do try change it without...

oh.. good point. but still, if i set it to USA, doesn't that mean i still would have to pay?

from some strange reason i changed it to israel and it works perfectly :]
