Anyone know why Utorrent would suddenly start downloading things really slow... like at rates no higher than .5 kbs without me changing any settings at all. Vuze downloads them at a normal speed.



I am shifting my torrents over to Vuze as I troubleshoot my issues with Utorrent

I believe it do to the facts that you are using an hdd. This happens to me too. I download a new torrent and the speed is very low and all the torrents that are uploading all stop uploading. I was told it was because i was using an hdd. A simple way to fix the problem is to stop all torrent for 5 second and start them agian. or close ( exit) utorrent and reopen it.

Do you downloading your files on external hdd? uTorrent: Disk Overload 100% Error Fix just don't put that cache size over 512 mb other settings are good on that fix...
