Thread: Autodl irsssi for SCC Help

i am using seedbox included autodl and want to add scc. But it doesnt work.

Can anyone help me?

My config file:

You don't have hash ID for SCC tracker , you can get it from any torrent download link, it is your personal hash so tracker can identify you.

[tracker scc]
authkey = <your hash ID for SCC tracker>

It's good idea to enable debug logging for autodl-irssi at least until you get things working

It still doesn't work. :S

I'll need more than "It still doesn't work"

1. remove "<" & ">" from authkey, and I hope that's not your real hash ID.

2, what do you get in autodl log window ?

3. are you connected to IRC server or channel,
do you have registered bot with SCC (you need to ask on IRC channel for vhost to get this), if you don't have registered bot, you need to invite yourself to channel (from your SCC web page, IRC section, invite button)

Your bot should also be named correctly. EG. username-bot also making sure nickname of your bot is registered with nickserv.

1- I removed > < from autkey. It wasnt real hash ID :)
2- Its just that: "Reading configuration files"
3- yes i registered irc. I can join on my computer but seedbox cant connect i guess.

I tried to register " nick-bot" but i couldnt do that. It fails: email adress is not valid adress.
What can i do to fix this?

Since your bot has a diferent name to your actual username, you can connect to the server and use the command /whois (user-bot) and see if its actually connected etc. Make sure your filters are actually selected.

I dont know how to write whois at seedbox.

You could use something like mirc to do it.
