Always when someting like this happend you can prove that you're not guilty on the irc of the trackers. Show them screenshots of your torrrent client and torrents you seeded on the tracker and the amount of upload on this torrents. Now some of trackers staff are more hard to talk other will be more nice to talk but you should be patient and you will get your account back if you did not done anyting wrong. Every time you join the new tracker read the rules and faq and respect them and this won't happend and for all private trackers you should have disabled DHT and local peer discovery this is a must. If you won't go on irc and talk on irc you might get banned on other trackers as staff participate and they sent info of bad users to other tracker staff... Go to irc and good luck!

You should check http://theoccult.bz/faq.php when you have been member they have a "For a full up-to-date list of which clients can and can't be used, see this link. " http://theoccult.bz/forums.php?actio...ic&topicid=732 <- link to the forum i can't see it as i am not a member there should be more info about what client you can use or not

What bittorrent clients may I use?

We've banned many clients for either putting too much load on our tracker or behaving in non-standard ways. These banned clients include Shareaza, Fando, eDonkey (libtorrent), MLdonkey, Transmission, BitComet (and any client based on it such as BitLord) and CFNetwork. Many older versions of Azureus and uTorrent are banned, mostly for announcing too often.

For a full up-to-date list of which clients can and can't be used, see this link.

    Some Windows clients we recommend:

Azureus (Full-featured; portable; provides very reliable statistics to the tracker.)
uTorrent (Highly Recommended. Uses very little system resources.)

Clients in alpha or beta version should be avoided.

For more information to assist in selecting a BitTorrent client, see: Comparison of BitTorrent clients at Wikipedia.

Most common reason for stats not updating

The user is cheating. (a.k.a. "Summary Ban")
The server is overloaded and unresponsive. Just try to keep the session open until the server responds again. (Flooding the server with consecutive manual updates is not recommended.)
You are using a faulty client. If you want to use an experimental or CVS version you do it at your own risk.

    Best practices

If a torrent you are currently leeching/seeding is not listed on your profile, just wait or force a manual update.
Make sure you exit your client properly, so that the tracker receives "event=completed".
If the tracker is down, do not stop seeding. As long as the tracker is back up before you exit the client the stats should update properly.

I just experienced the same thing at a tracker and boy is it hard to even get someone to talk with at their irc about it without getting an attitude. LOL about cheating as I have no desire to cheat and I use a seedbox. Perhaps their software is screwy?

If you've been torrenting for sometime, there is a possibility that you get chain ban from another tracker...if you get banned at PTP 5 years ago for example, you will probably get banned on .BZ network when they find out
