    Default changing T-I theme w/ opera

    I know opera isn't your favorite browser and I always get queer looks when I mention that it is my primary, but has anyone an idea why I'm unable to change theme here on T-I using opera? I'm stuck on the dark theme and I can't get it changed. It works with FF though.

    Any help appreciated (except suggestions on changing my browser)
    thanks

    http://www.torrent-invites.com/profi...do=editoptions -> Forum Skin: Torrent-Invites V3 White -> Save Changes

    and you are done...

    That quick style chooser might not be working in opera but this should work in any browser

    I tried that already but it doesn't work either. Actually it is set there right now but opera is still black. The setting is set properly, I know for sure, because if I log into the site with FF it immediately turns into white.

    just installed the latest opera (looks good) and tried the white style and it's working fine it's problem on your end... have no idea what is it... try to reinstall, delete history cookies cache, log out log in...

    It's works both if you set in settings and the quick style chooser...

    I just checked with my desktop computer, running opera on windows. It works here.
    It still fails to work on my laptop which runs linux. Strange behaviour.

    Works for me on Linux and always have. I highly doubt that it is a OS related issue. Never had any issues with Opera either except the CSS hack and the time when I was stuck on mobile theme but that was on other browsers too.

    There must be some devious caching on my side. No idea how, but it works now.
    I wiped all my cookies and history for the site, came back and got stuck on the mobile theme. Logged in, logged out, wiped my cache, pressed "full site" a thousand times but nothing changed. On my 1001st reload the default theme magically appeared again.

    So I logged in again, tried to change to white but again, nothing worked. I tried the quick-selector, the settings panel. nothing.
    Last round I switched to white theme in the settings, saved it, then immediately changed the quick-selector to white theme as well and that finally worked.

    you see. all you need is a lot of patience and magic fingers. C'est ca.
