Thread: Torrent Leech buffer?

I recently got a torrent leech account and i find it very hard to build a buffer? I know all about cross seed but my download speed is slow so by the time i download it, the torrent is no loonger new..

Start out with smaller files, keep them seeded weeks, months, years.

Edit: Speed is a factor, but you can still download bigger releases, now "part-cross-seed" them. Download 50-100 MB of a new torrent. Then cross seed that.

I also have a slow connection, you want to cross seed popular torrents such as TV shows and new movies, all of the top 10 also.
Patience is the key.

I'm not sure part cross-seeding will work...correct me if i'm wrong...as in my experience the whole file is needed if your ristricted by the wait times.

I had a similar problem and hated the wait times.....no one downloads files by the time you get round to getting them...so it can be really difficult getting enough upload initially...can easily mess up the whole thing by downloading stuff and not managing to keep your ratio because no1 downloads the file by then.

I also had problems with cross-seeding, as any RARed torrents would never recheck to 100% and thus it would give me an error because of the wait time. Nightmare!!!

However i did manage it after a little trouble...
Your best bet is to get a popular torrent that is quite large (about 10GB) from say IPT (would be freeleech in that size) and cross-seed that for a while.
The trick is that it has to be something that is popular (one got me 40GB upload over 2 weeks so bypassing any wait time limits and was still uploading slowly after 2 weeks)
Also make sure it's not a RARed release, so a big 1080p rip of a movie or maybe a season pack of a popular show that would get uploaded to both trackers.
So just wait till you see a nice new torrent and check other trackers if they have the same release and voila.

However...i would recommend getting a cheap seedbox for a week or maybe apply in the great givaways we occasionally have here at TI.

wait times for a new user - that is the most stupidest rule i have ever seen
and the staff expects you not to cheat ???????????

mind me i have spent countless hours trying to get pass that wait time with shitty poor connection ,yup i succeeded in doin that but believe me its not worth it
if you like the tracker very very very much than get a seedbox for like just 7 days and you'll get a nice buffer up to 1 TB there
but if you ask me i will recommend buffering IPT account rather than this tracker
last but not the least don't waste your time on this tracker with your home connection

I have three magic formulas.

Buy a decent seedbox for 2-3 months. Buffer 1 or 2 TB. Then seed only till 0.4 or whatever the requirement is. That will satisfy your needs for at least a year. That works on every tracker. I think ~ 45 - 75 $ are completely worth it to stay in a decent tracker.

On the other hand, you could just donate and live ratio free.

And finally, why do you need such a tracker when you have a bad connection? Just go for a ratioless tracker. http://www.torrent-invites.com/track...ixid=Ratioless

You guys know after reading all your posts i thought that i wanted to be in TL because of its great speeds and large no of torrents. But IPT also has same no of torrents may be more and around same speeds. So why not just dumb TL and go with IPT. Torrentleech is making me mad.. Anyways i think ill download a 1080p release of a movie and then cross seed on TL. If that doesnt work, to hell with TL.

dnt go with the reviews ,they are personal views by the members
ask questions to urself before asking for an invite

1 - do you really need the tracker
2 - is there a better easy to maintain tracker alternative available
3 - dnt give fuck about feeling elite. u'l end up wasting your valuable time for nothing

even when i started torrenting i used to read reviews ,which turned out about always having nice comments n stuff adding to my list yet another useless tracker.
always read whole review thread and even 1 bad comment warrants to double check the trackers usefulness as against its requirements to maintain account there
every tracker is good at its own place ,yup its right but remember it may not be good for you

btw speed of the torrents at a tracker is the most irrelevant thing for u considering your connection speed

IPT was my first real private tracker which I maintain a ratio of 20 on a upload 1mbit connection. They have so many freeleech torrents you can download and seed. It makes seeding so easy. Torrent Leech on the other hand have so many restrictions which make it hard for new users. I'd agree and say it's not worth bothering with this tracker. There are so many users on there that have seedboxes with unbelievably high ratios. I'm sure I seen one that had 20tb uploaded and 880 gig downloaded with a ratio above 15. With no freeleech ways of downloading torrents it's impossible to seed with so many others overseeding.

To keep it simple, TorrentLeech is a waste of time and everything that's on torrentleech is generally first on IPT. I hope Torrent Leech dies in a hole because of it's unfair restrictions causing so much pain to new users without the money to spend on donations or seedboxes.

You can cross-seed your torrent from IPT but I often find no one ever is downloading from you and if you only have a 1mbit connection when someone is downloading from you there always downloading a large portion of the download from the seedbox, mostly bypassing you.

It all angers me!
