Default How to get good peering to China?

I'm a member of many trackers that are based in China such as HDC and CHD

However, I always get bad speeds from users of China

    Any resolutions?

Yeah, get a server with better routing to China. My Leaseweb (NL) and OVH (FR) servers have terrible peering to CHD. My residential connection (CA) isn't great either. Only times the speeds are good is when I'm able to connect to seeds from said countries.

Some people may suggest you use a more aggressive BT client (eg, Deluge) for leeching/seeding, but I don't really know whether this will resolve your bad peering to Chinese users (even if it did, I doubt it'll be by that much).

I was just wondering. How many people in these Chinese tracker are from China? It seem like a lot of Chinese trackers users are from America (like us).

I'm pretty sure about 80% of the uploaders are from China, but it's only a rough estimate.

Getting good peering to China is extremely difficult, because Chinas internet connectivity outside China is horrible, mostly due to regulations of the government.

The best option would be to get a Leaseweb or SoftLayer server IN China, but that's significantly more expensive, most of the time even 3-4 times as much as in Europe. The cheaper solution would be to get a server/VPS from the SoftLayer NL data-center which just opened up in Nov 2011.
I was able to test a very high quality VPS from there for a week and I was stunned by the excellent peering and overall performance. SoftLayer may not be as well known as Leaseweb around the torrent community, but after opening up new data-centers in Singapur and Amsterdam I'm sure they are the number one in peering again.

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.

I used to run a small seedbox service (More of a leechbox variant, mainly to bypass the ISP's torrent traffic shaping) and my users download alot of contents from China. The server was located in Europe. I would say, if you want good peering, get a VPN based in Europe if you don't want to invest in a server.
