Default ruTorrent isn't seeding (Port issue?)

    Hello,

My ruTorrent isn't seeding. I'm not sure if it's a port issue or not because I can download fine, and I can upload while downloading. But once the file is complete, the connections cut off and I am not able to seed.

Mind you, I'm not very fluent with Linux, and I followed a few guides online. The ruTorrent wiki suggested to
use port 49164, so I allowed that through iptables; another suggested 23877, so I let that through as well.

Can anyone help me solve this?

Does this happen on all your trackers? If not, check your HTTPS settings on the tracker/s you have problems. It should look like this:

EDIT: I've updated the trackers list, and it's still uploading quite slow; close to 0.

The amount of leechers is irrelevant, because especially on 'old' bigger torrents most of them are partial seeders and are in fact downloading nothing or there could just be already a lot of seeders.

How old are the torrents you are using? How many seeders and how many leechers do they have?
How fast are you in fact uploading, is it really 0KB or just significantly slower, because it's possible the most of the peers are finished downloading with you at the same time and therefore your speeds drop.

The exact port you use is not relevant, only the range, it just has to fit with your firewall - or iptables if you manage it manually. Is it working if the firewall is off? (not recommended) - If it's a firewall issue every connection with this port should be blocked, not just slowed down.

You should definitely consider making an introduction, because approved members will usually helped faster and more thoughtfully: http://www.torrent-invites.com/start...tion-form.html

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.
