Thread: Installing A Windows OS On A OVH Server Remotely

Hi all i was wondering if anyone know`s how this is done as i searched around and can not seem to find any information.I know it can be as there is a website/company that does it for you without KVM on the ovh server.They use netrescue and install over a diffrent os i.e unbuntu ?.It would be intresting to know how it is done.

Yes I do understand but in one of the topics I mentioned, I stated that OVH cracks down on "your own license" as long as it's not Microsoft-approved within certain limits. So you cannot run an illegal copy of Windows Server for instance or install Windows XP. You can only run approved preloads from OVH with the specific key added in the OVH-panel.

The site you mention, winstaller, also requires you to have a certain & vailid license so I have a hard time understanding what you actually want then.

Hi Dutchruff where in my post did i ever mention installing an illegal copy of windows ???.My post is asking how do i install windows on a server like winstalle can installing my own licence key for windows server?.

I am asking if anyone knows how they do it ?
