Default How do you upload more on Leeching Torrents?

I've always been using Iptorrents and its so simple to use. Freeleech and etc, then when I had the upload speed building up, its how I got my speed the way it is now.
I'm using other Torrent sites such as FYT, SCC, and TL, that require me to seed for 36hrs and maintain a good ratio (except FYT). Any tips? Czu when I look for the most leech, it doesn't help :[

To upload more on the torrents you leech the best method is to be one of the first leechers to jump onto the torrent.

By jumping on earlier, later leechers will have to download off of you therefore increasing the amount of data you upload.

A good method to do this is to set-up autodl-irssi or RSS of the tracker.

TL and SCC are the hard to seed trackers with a lot of seedbox users.
Make sure you get on torrents quick, try set up auto-download if possible for some popular torrents.
SCC have freeleech sections...make use of those.
I've tried cross-seeding to TL couple of times but because of the wait and torrents never rechecking to full 100% i've always failed.
If you are past the wait times at TL then cross-seed away and you'll be fine.
Try getting the torrents from SCC/IPT fast (auto-download) and then cross-seed to TL.

"set-up autodl-irssi or RSS of the tracker"? How does that work?

So, by cross-seeding, I have to follow the instructions on the "Outside Seeding with uTorrent" on Torrentleech?
I plan on taking advantage on the Freeleech section of SCC, I didn't realize that eariler, thanks! SCC looks pretty good imo
It's just ever since I've used IPT, it's just easier, I can't imagine what the other sites have though that I would download in the future

First of all I have to say that in the case you are using rtorrent it's not possible to get higher upload speeds on leeching torrents, but the way it is coded it's only able to use one CPU, it seems like that's what you meant with the thread title, but probably not.

The best tip is probably the sorting the torrents by the amount of leechers is in 95% the cases a very bad idea, because most of the leechers are in fact only partial seeders and don't download. It only makes sense when a tracker is set to sitewide freeleech for a limited time.
For more information on this topic you should read this tutorial: The Popular Torrent Myth

Autodl-irssi is a plugin for the rutorrent interface, which will only be efficient if you use a seedbox or have at least a 50Mbps connection. It automatically downloads torrent that are announced in the IRC channel of the specific torrent tracker.
In the case you have installed it you should use this illustration to get it to work: PluginAutodlirssi - rutorrent - Yet another web front-end for rTorrent - Google Project Hosting (nearly at the bottom of the page is a good illustration)

Nearly every tracker nowadays offers RSS feeds, but the disadvantage are that they are significantly slower than the first method, but a lot easier to set up.
This tutorial will explain you the steps that are necessary to use RSS to download torrents:

I'll look into what you posted but it's not like I wanted to know how to increase my upload speed , I know there is a limit given by my ISP but my speed is at 1645104322.png for upload. I just want to find out how I can leech off of torrents by their upload so I can build on my ratio

The tutorials and tips I gave you help you to fully max out your upload speed while using torrents, which obviously helps you increasing your upload stats. I never said anything about the speed of your internet connection, but merely about how you can better use it.

Use deluge. It is way more aggressive on making conections than nay other client, you will download faster and upload more to the leechers, this client is currently the best on handling swarms, specially on new small torrents with just the initial seeder.

    Hi MadC,

I wouldn't think solely in terms of "the most leeched" torrent. As it's been said there're various factors determining which torrents is leeched more than others and, from my experience none of them can help you out. I don't personally think to be advantageous having to leech a torrent with many leechers, unless you boost your speed with a seedbox. In your case - home connection user only - I would be more concerned on finding the right torrents to keep seeding for a long time.

Let me give you an example: Matrix is without any doubt one of the most watched and interesting movie ever made. If you grab a torrent that packs the three movies together and seed it for three months as much as possible, you can definitely benefit from it with interests. There are few of this kind of torrents, generally large, that can help you improve constantly your ratio on the long run. Moreover I think this should be you attitude, namely "thinking long term" kind of approach.

On SCC you should only hit the Archive section where everything is freeleech and looking for potentially popular movie pack with an average amount of seeders.
On TL you are better stay off the 0day and last release stuff and trying to cross-seeding instead. TL is very unforgiving without a seedbox. Find titles worth the trouble on IPT or FYT and seed them back on TL.
FYT is one large "auto-seeded" server so if you aim to increase the ratio, you're only option are seeding points.

    Good Luck!

Well since you are new to the SCC, a ARCHIVES and 0days tabs on scc are the ones u use to build your ratio there as they are FREELEECH.
Every day 5-6 torrents are added to the ARCHIVES section and couple are added to 0day tab. The earlier u download them the better it is.
Another way is to look for announce in there irc channel and or to setup an auto downloader in your seedbox for movie packs on scc that dropped on Saturday and sundays mostly.
How to do that u can find about it in the tutorial section or if u need to download it here is a link--- http://code.google.com/p/rutorrent/w...ginAutodlirssi
, also has a short and helpful tutorial with it.

    For TL

U need to CROSS-SEED, its one of the best ways i can see to help your situation,

Cross seed means: downloading from tracker "A" and seeding it back on tracker "B". in you particular case the best solution is tracker A is IPT and tracker "B" is TL.
Find NEW torrent that i being uploaded on IPT and TL download them from IPT as soon as them are uploaded and then seed them back at FULL speed on TL byt download a 2nd torrent file from TL of the SAME TORRENT.

The above methods are LIFE SAVORS!!!! and the only prerequisite for the TL method is that the TORRENT MUST BE ON BOTH TRACKERS!!!

    Cheers mate
