    yes. re-encoding all the tv shows and movies with your arabic subtitles will take shEtloads of hours and what not.
    connecting your PC to your tv is an option but as i've done it, i found it stupid. getting a media player is the right choice

    solving your Problem :
    i think your subtitle is SRT
    you can change srt to sub/idx
