Default Virus! Help Me Please !!

Well, I was looking through the open trackers section and saw Pussytorrents.org, I visited the signup link (in Internet Explorer) and next thing I know I have this terrible virus. It's done everything possible. I can't open AVG or Malwarebytes, and Firefox only works in safe mode but keeps getting shut down from the process *mvm.exe After I end the process *mvm.exe (which keeps giving me Anti-Virus pop-ups as if it were a program on my PC), it will start back up again after I try ending the process in task manager. I was able to start CCleaner in safe mode and tried viewing the startup processes and nothing that I didn't want to be there was there. Also, somehow it's deleted msconfig! The process no longer exists in the system32 folder!! Any ideas how to rid of it? Please help!

run -> msconfig + enter -> startup disable all -> restart

if this won't work disable all servises and than restart -> than scan your computer with your antivirus

This will help so the virus won't start when you open your computer...

and for the end i will say ubuntu (linux) ftw no stupid viruses and crap can run on it
    Magister and SharingIsnice like this.

Use HijackThis...I think it's better than CCleaner for checking and getting rid of startup programs

You can also run the process wich generates a log of all running processes and you can then paste it in the following online link to check which processes are troubling you...there might be another hidden process or service which restarts the one you found..

    HijackThis Logfileauswertung

There is noting useful on google about this virus. Spybot, microsoft security essential, kaspersky, malwarebytes helped me many times but you need to remove any other antivirus you have on your computer and try to install one by one if one won't work remove it and move to the next one you said that you can't see in the startup ccleaner anyting suspicion anyway disable all the startup programs as you can't know if that is the virus or not... just disable all until you do a full scan with your antivirus and spyware software... and you should report that thread were you got the virus so no more people will be infected...

@specialized i disabled all of them and the process still pops up even in safe mode ... ! wtf! this is an advanced virus here. never seen anything like it

i haven't. thanks to the other recent thread on here that asks which anti-virus you use, I downloaded Kaspersky. It's only at 1% done in the scan (been scanning for 30 minutes) and has found like 10 viruses. Oh jesus. By the way, I'm 99% sure I had no viruses before yesterday. I'd consider myself fluent in that area.
