Both Demonoid and MyAnonamouse are good recommendations. Demonoid is the 1000 lbs tracker that has nearly twice the number of members that IPT or TL have. Moreover, they are the first major tracker that realized that ratio is a non-issue these days, so there's no peril of getting banned just because you cannot seed enough.
MyAnonamouse is a very friendly community where it is easy to seed and collect points, especially this month, because everything is freeleech. This means you can build up a buffer easily, just do not disconnect any torrents after downloading too soon, but seed everything for ... five days I think. There is no risk for your inviter if you get disabled, unless the two of you try to annoy the staff on purpose.
A general tip on account closure: some staff on a few trackers who believe they are the last Pepsi in the desert are so arrogant that talking reasonably to them is impossible, but it is always recommendable to ask in a tracker's help forum what would be an acceptable way to leave. "Why? We are the latest and greatest on God's wide earth?". Flatter them a little bit and point out that "it's not you, it's me", explain that you feel it wouldn't be fair for you to occupy a place that could be given to somebody who will be active and contribute. Mention that you could fulfill the requirements to download and post in the forum once per month, if that's what it takes to keep your inviter out of trouble, or what else they require you to do so they leave your inviter in peace. Any decent human being should realize that you are trying to be polite and to do the right thing -- if their vanity takes a hit, it's their problem. If it is "that kind of tracker", you might wish to consult with your inviter first, as a courtesy and to maybe get a tip on how to arrange an elegant exit.
This is if you were invited. If you got in during an opening period, I would tell them the truth in the post. Do not swear or insult, that's low, but if it is due to the moderators' God complex, an absurd or impossible ratio/seeding system, submit your arguments and then say good bye. If they carry a different content from what you expected, be nice because it is not their fault. If you are simply fed up with the staff's arrogance, let them know it politely and then close the door behind you -- maybe it can help others who come after you. If you just don't have the time, hard disk space or interest any longer, you can slip out silently and let your account expire, because there's nothing the tracker can do about that. If somebody from staff or the user community was particularly helpful during your time with them, a "thanks and all the best" is a nice gesture.
As with any other relation in life, ending it properly with style and manners can make all the difference. Do not blame the other side unfairly, do not look for excuses or pretexts, don't argue or fight over things that have been said before, do not lie or evade. Think for a couple of days about what you are going to do, evaluate the pros and cons, make a decision -- and then stick with it. Tell her on a Friday, so she can cry and condemn all men over the weekend with a friend, instead of having to sit through an important meeting with swollen eyes the next day. Look her in the eyes, thank her for the time, wish her the best, do not allow her to humiliate herself, do not exploit her in the moment of her weakness, remain firm, stay calm, say good bye, leave.
And if it was you who was the jerk, pray that you find somebody who loves you as much as she did.
