Thread: Can't access parts of the site?

When I try to click on links, I get redirected to an error page.

It tells me that I must create an introduction and be promoted above 10% to gain access, but I did both things very long ago.

My introduction was accepted, and I've been as active as I've could- yet, I'm still getting this message.

Can someone please help me with this issue? I'd verily appreciate it.

Could you post an example link that leads to that error message? I'm guessing it might be because the link is to a thread in the 33%+ giveaway sections or the VIP forums. Here is breakdown of how to get to higher ranks: Torrent-Invites FAQ (second post on that thread).

I get that message too sometimes. It appears on links that go to the forum. Like you said

you need to get a higher status than 10% to access those parts of the forum. They are closed to anyone who doesn't have minimum status to see it.

A good way to get more reputation is by being helpful to other people on the forum. Or post reviews on seedboxes or trackers. A more complete list of ways to get more reputation can be found here How to earn your rep and be an asset to the community.

I suppose I require more progress than 10%, so thank you for your information. It bemused me because I thought the message meant to inform me that I'm not an activated member on the site, whereas I am.

The link is definitely from the 33% section and you don't have yet met the requirements to view it.

It's the standard message, becaue it would require some extra, and probably unnecessary work to write custom deny message for every different userclass or area they tried to access. This is also included in the standard vBulletin.

I think the reason why members of the 10% group are able to seed those links is to encourage them to become more active in this great community. I wish you all the best of luck and feel free to post again for any follow up questions.
