iGiver, what is the correct "Giveaway Thread URL" for...
Hello all,
What is the correct "Giveaway Thread URL" for an invite received from the "VIP Request List"? I am unable to successfully create an iGiver with the URL for that thread. The iGiver system responds with "The Giveaway Thread URL is invalid."

I assume you copy / paste the thread url and it's definitely correct.
Do you have another request for it, in the request section?
You could ask your inviter if he maybe has or had a giveway for this tracker, because the igiver is only for tracker purposes to prevent dupe accounts and other not allowed movements.
I think the last one is the best option, besides that I have nothing, sorry.
If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.
you can also try to copy and paste the post where you give the invite out or they gave you the invite
I've resolved this with the inviter, but I'm going to leave the thread open since I'm not sure there's an answer for what to do with invites received from the VIP Request List. Maybe a mod can look into it.

Yes, can someone fix this please. I have 2 people telling me they can't add an iGiver for me because of this

You could only use the URL to submit an iGiver if the member is the one who posted the thread (in this case, you'd only be able to create an iGiver for shadowbuild). The simplest way would be to find another GA thread the member has posted and use that URL as a substitute. If you really wanted, you could post another thread in the VIP Request section.
