    Default CHDBits Password Problem

    Hi fellas,

    Recently I joined CHDBits and passed all the tests (30GB DL, 30GB UL, STLR=6) in less than a week...

    Here is my problem. When I was signing up, I chose a really simple password and wanted to change that by recovering it via e-mail. In a few seconds, the confirmation e-mail arrived upon my request. When I clicked on it, nothing happened. I tried recovering two more times (maybe I shouldn't have done that but now it's too late) and I had two more conformation links in order to reset the password. When I clicked on them upon their arrival, nothing happened either. Now, I cannot login to the tracker with my old password since I clicked on the links. Unfortunately, CHDBits does not have an IRC channel for help/support. What do you recommend me to do? I'd be more than glad if someone can talk to the staff on behalf of me.

    Rather than clicking on the links, try copy and paste into your browser address bar. Other than that I got nothing.

    Since I was in a hurry, I guess I was not clear enough. I recieve the first e-mail titled, "CHDBits password reset confirmation". I click on the link without a problem and it says, "Success - The new account details have been mailed to ... Please allow a few minutes for the mail to arrive." That second mail with my new account details has not arrived yet.

    How long age did you receive the e-mail with the content 'You successfully restored your password and your account details have been mailed to you'?
    What kind of e-mail provider are you using?
    Did you look in your spam folder?

    It's possible that the 'CHDBits password reset confirmation e-mail' got through the spam filter, because it doesn't looks like spam and the other one didn't. It's also note worthy that CHD doesn't permit changing of e-mail addresses to as another security layer against account trading.
