    Default Spotify Offline

I have created a rule in windows firewall that blocks spotify.exe so I can use my spotify whenever I want at the same time as my girlfriend.. But I would like to create a batch file so I can enable and disable this rule fast and easy...

Don't know what command I must use, can someone help me? :)

Firewall rule is named 'Spotify Block'

Thanks, this should be easy, I am sure someone knows how to do it :)

I'm not Windows expert at all, but I still might be able to help you.
If I recall correctly you can enable your firewall with all the exceptions with:
netsh firewall set opmode enable enable
And on the other hand enable the firewall, but disabling all the exceptions with:

netsh firewall set opmode enable disable
Which means that you need to use the first one to allow Spotify and the second on to forbid it, but the negative aspect of this is that it will be for all of your exceptions.

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.

Ok, I managed to get a command that works in cmd..

netsh advfirewall firewall set rule name=”Spotify Block” new enable=no
    and
netsh advfirewall firewall set rule name=”Spotify Block” new enable=yes
but these wont work when I put them in a batch file.?? "/

Getting error "the specified value is invalid" and a lot of other text that explains rule or something I don't understand..

I'm sorry that I can't provide you a solid solution, but I think I got the solution for you now:

    netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=”Spotify Block” dir=in program=”C:\Program Files (x86)\Winsim\ConnectionManager\Spotify.Block.exe” remoteip=localsubnet action=allow
    netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=”Spotify Block” dir=in program=”C:\Program Files (x86)\Winsim\ConnectionManager\Spotify.Block.exe” remoteip=localsubnet action=forbid
The exact details will probably vary depending on your system and setup, but I think it should work with something like that.
I have to greatly apologize for not being any better help.

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.
