Might i ask why we block most of our identifiable information? I would think the pm would just be by passing what ever reason we block the info.
at first i thought it was just account security and prevent users from trying to get in using the account, but i am not sure.

i know sometimes we just try to be more secure. like sending a pm.. would be safer than posting in the forum. And sometimes an inviter might want to verify the user that they are about to invite into their fold and requires a little trust on both side.

To the Op.. i think u should be able to trust the user u sending the pm as long as they have earned their ranking %.

When you post an unedited picture, thousands of people can see it, and all kinds of unpleasant things might happen to you, like getting banned from the tracker, hacking attempts, etc.
When you send a profile by PM, you are taking a small risk, but the inviter takes a much larger risk by inviting you there. If someone has malicious intents when requesting a profile link, it's very likely that they will get banned from here. The higher reputation/iGivers the inviter has, the smaller is the risk of something going wrong, because they have proven to be a trustworthy and helpful person.
