1 TB/day is 12 MB/s. if you're literally seeding 100 torrents all active at the same time it could be an issue; def. will if you're not the only user on the drive

and like so. else said, try running HD Tune and see if you've bad sectors on the drive or sth.

11MiB/s with 30 active items while downloading at 7 Mib/s, sustained over an hour now. On a KS2G with 0.7 load and 250Mib resident memory. Beat that, Deluge. ;)

The problem is not the average 12M/s, it is the spikes you get on the GBit box you need to actually get those average numbers. Unless you seed the hell out of something like the South by Southwest torrents when they're fresh and the swarms enormous.

Someone touched on this... Are you the only user on the box? if its a virtual box u could have all kind of issues.

on a side note is there a ideal number of turrents in a client? I dont seem to run my upload limit on the box often.
I turned my total number of connections down to like 80 to allow the machine to focus more.. but not sure it helped alot.

it there some where that shows ideal setup? say based on mem, bandwidth, connections, torrents, etc? I looked around.. but i have not found how the the clients even prioritize who they download from.

also I think someone said to run two clients at the time.. one focusing on raw speed and the other focused on volume.
This might be bad right? is the limit with the access to the harddrives and the network.. or with the client software
I would think two clients fighting over the network resource who be kinda ruff optimization.

Is there some guide to set u uTorrent with RuTorrent with Auto-DL irsii plugin and auto-dl irsii on windows? I would like it to run "native" or cygwin, not in VM.

    Thanks.
