Thread: Problem with RuTorrent

I get this error message when starting my RuTorrent WebGUI. What do I do?:

[22.11.2011 16:28:31] WebUI started.
[22.11.2011 16:28:32] No connection to rTorrent. Check if it is really running. Check $scgi_port and $scgi_host settings in config.php and scgi_port in rTorrent configuration file.

Well, maybe rTorrent is down or maybe ruTorrent can not connect to rTorrent ? Do you see "rtorrent" in running processes ?

Maybe. Yes I see 2 process of rtorrent running.

scgi_port = 127.0.0.1:23876

lines from ruTorrent config.php (location depends from setup, either in ruTorrent/conf/yourusername or in ruTorrent/conf)

SCGI port and host must match

Doesn't seem like I have that line in my .rtorrent.rc file. It was working, just an hour or two ago it stopped. How can I restart rtorrent?

It depends from installation script, first guess: "sudo /etc/init.d/autodl_yourusername restart" but it could be also something like this: "sudo /etc/init.d/rtorrent restart"
