Thread: carat networks unable to connect server to domain

Hi I hope this is the rite place if not please move to proper section.
I got a server from carat networks and I bought a domain to start a website to compile a list of open trackers with auto script.



any ways i am unable to get my domain to connect to my server and carat networks support said they do not manage servers. I had to create private name servers using the name i got from my host and added the ip address from my cpanel in setup and Resolver Configuration


anyways i have been unable to get my domain to connect to the server and i am using A point to link to ip address etc...

does anyone have any experience with carat networks or getting a domain name to point to their hosting server i got?

thanks for any help i have been at this for over a day and 1 thing i know at this point is their support is so bad i can not believe they are in business. i would have cancelled right away but they have no refund policy.

i have gotten alot of help from the company i got my domain from, but they are unable to resolve the issue as it is not their cpanel or hosting.

What registrar is your domain hosted with? That is who generally will have some kind of a "DNS Manager" console, so you can point your DNS records to a specific IP, or completely forward all DNS requests to somewhere else.

I always like to buy domain names from places like GoDaddy that have very well developed Web GUI's that you can manage your DNS records with.

It sounds like you are having DNS issues, not managing the actual server.

why dont only forward ur domain to ur server IP address using DNS Manager its fix all the things....
