    Default Some questions about deluge

Hello everyone, these days i bought an 100mbps dedicated kis2G,but some issues are always confusing me,i would like to find some help from my T-I friends ii installed my deluge follow the kis2G tutorial in our tutorial selection, and i am using deluge as my main client, but i found when i tried to use killall deluge command in my ssh,and want to let my server rest for a while, the deluge always has to recheck all the files i haven't finished downloading after i try to restart it,it really suffers me a lot,i would like to know is it a safer way to close my deluge, instead of using the kill command in my ssh?i also found my deluge's CPU's afford goes very high when i add a torrent's size is over 40GB,and when my deluge's speed hit 10mb/s i found it can't keep the speed for a long time,it usually goes down immediately and then up again, and in that period of time,my cpu also goes very high,i would like to know can i do something special thing, such as setting the right cache,or changing the deluge version,to prevent these issues happen.Thank you.

If deluge isn't shut down cleanly, it will seek to recheck the torrents upon a restart. Also there was a bug in older versions that it would always recheck on startup. That was fixed in v. 0.5.8.3, I believe. So you should confirm that you have a more current version and also that you didn't preserve a config file from an older installation.

Then "killall deluged" should result in a clean shutdown. If you still see issues, you might want to try disabling "classic mode" in preferences | interface | classic mode. Another alternative if the server is not being shutdown or rebooted, would be to pause all (torrents), rather than stop /shutdown deluge.
