nope they are not iGivers
the Gem http://www.torrent-invites.com/torre...t+to+community
click on settings in top right corner to know how much reputation points you have and who has given them to you
TheRep button:
- You can't see/use the
rep button until you're
- After that, the
is visible next to the
post reporting button in the bottom-left corner of each post.
- This allows you to:
a) give both (+) positive and (-) negative reputation as well
b) leave a specific comment / reason why- CAUTION: RULES! Before repping a new user into T-I from the Introductions, make sure you read this: http://www.torrent-invites.com/intro...tion-form.html and http://www.torrent-invites.com/intro...g-members.html
- CAUTION: RULES! Before giving anyone (-) negative rep, make sure you read this: Rules for Repping
Tip: Depending on what reputation you have, you get various reputation comments (seen after hovering the![]()
![]()
icons).
Note: The "Like" button does not impact your reputation so feel free to like all the posts you desire, but please use the Reputation button if you feel a post is helpful to you or the community. This determines a member's progression as a T-I'er.
When should you give positive reputation?
You may give positive rep or thanks when...:
- a post is useful to you
- a post is useful to someone else
- a giveaway is made that you like
- a request is filled
- a good suggestion is made
- a post is helpful to the moderators
So when you should you NOT give positive rep or thanks?
- when someone makes a request
- when someone applies for an invite
- when someone bumps a thread
- or anything resembling spam
- in order to receive an invite (you may give rep or thanks to a deserving giveaway it if you desire but please report any threads that require rep or thanks as a condition of the giveaway)
p.s - make sure to read the whole rules and FAQ section before you make any threads

From what I can garner, there are three different "things" you can get on this forum.
There are "iGiver's" that you receive for giving out invites/bonuses/seedboxes
There are "Likes" that you receive when someone "Likes" what you post.
There is "Reputation" which I'm not exactly sure how you get.
The amount of iGiver you have can be seen right below your post count
The amount of Likes you have can be seen by clicking on your name in the top right user bar
The amount of Reputation you have can be seen by clicking the "settings" tab in the top right user bar
So no, reputation is not the same as iGiver.
Edit: Damn don_rocks beat me to it.![]()

How to see your rep:
How to give rep to others:

Well pretty much everything has already been covered about reputation points.
Rep points are simply an indication of how much you have contributed to the community. You are not permitted to ask for rep. Other members simply give it when they think that you've made a really good post or gone the extra distance to help someone out. Or for an especially clever post. Not everyone will rep you, but a lot of members will. It may start out slow at first, but if your posts are helpful it will grow. The link that don_rocks posted is very good - How to earn your rep and be an asset to the community.
Negative rep does not exist anymore. At the start, if you rep someone else, your rep power is "1". So you can give one rep point to their post. But as your total number of rep points grows, your rep power will gradually go up as well. The green bars under your avatar give everyone an approximate idea of your total rep points. You can see the exact amount of your own rep by clicking on Settings at the top of the page and scrolling down to "Latest Reputation received".
iGivers are completely different. This is similar to eBay feedback. When you give away an invite, your invitee is required to leave an iGiver for you. The iGivers help build trust regarding invites.
Lastly, be responsible when repping other members. You can click "Like" for as many posts as you like. But don't rep every post. Only rep posts that really add something to the community.
