Thread: Seedbox Downloading

Hi all,
I have been looking for a new seedbox to build some buffer recently. A few days ago i got one from seed unlimited and yesterday i took one from boxslots, i actually have a really cheap one from elsewhere too. The thing is , can i download the same torrent from all 3 boxes for ratio building or if i was uploading myself could i seed from them all. And a second question is this, do i need to notify every tracker of these 3 boxes or is it ok to assume that they will know i am using seedboxes.

As i am writing this i sort of am inclining that i should inform all my trackers , anyways any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

If you would seed from two seedboxes in a tracker using separate torrents for each seedbox then you might succeed but it will not work with a torrent and two or more seedboxes unless a tracker source is really old or works on old principles.

That depends on a tracker policy. Some of them state that you are required to inform them if you are using some sort of a remote location for seeding, some just do not care unless your ratio becomes suspiciously big, some just do not care. It is better to ask them but first of all look through a tracker FAQ and rules before doing anything.
