What is the reason behind requiring blacking out of portions of the ratio / upload / download numbers?
It's the same reason that we have different username/we do not post any personal tracker info like profile links/emails on forum...
It's because some trackers don't like T-I and ban users that use invite forums. It's for your safety. Most of trackers staff like to see that invites go to the real friends that we trust and know... that minimize amount of bad users (cheaters/sellers/traders) that tracker staff hates so much... That's why they don't like us...
To ensure privacy of members. A program which can track members by ratio can be easily created.

OK, thanks for the answers. Has anybody ever actually gotten into hot water that way? Trackers typically have 10s of thousands of members and up and your ratio is constantly changing. A large slice of members will have the same ratios at all times.

Yes people were caught and banned from sites from getting invites from here or giving them all the same that's why we try to be very secure so we can protect the people in here and the most important thing to hide is your username and e-mail address if it's shown in the ratio proof
he telling you some trackers dislike people giving out invite to people on this website.
These trackers comes to this website and check people pictures and when they see those download/upload amount they would go back to their system and cross check it and then ban you.
By blocking out parts of the download/upload amount makes it a bit more harder for them to cross check you with their systems.
