Yes, it is a text file, made in notpad, or any plain text editor. It's contents mean nothing, it is just the actual file, when added to your dropbox account will trigger your task you set up on your pc. What tut are you using? I used this one an it worked like a charm:

You have to name it whatever you set up your task info to. The example was
but if you want your file to be named restart.txt, just change the task code to:Code:your_dropbox_folder_path\secret_file.txt
what is in the text file, can be anything.Code:your_dropbox_folder_path\restart.txt
