Default Storage error: [Hash checker was unable to map chunk: Too many open files] error

    Hi everyone,

I downloaded a torrent, a error occurs "Storage error: [Hash checker was unable to map chunk: Too many open files]". After that, the torrent was paused.

How to fix it? I found a article on the Internet which said "I must to edit max_open_files to fix that", but I see in my .rtorrent.rc setting, I see network.max_open_files.set = 1024.

    Many thanks,

My seedbox is Celeron 1.2Ghz, 2G RAM, 1TB HDD (Kimsufi 2G).

    This is my .rtorrent.rc settings:

    Default

max_open_files is the rtorrent config setting for 0.8.6 and below. you got the new one, so use the new name for that setting. its identical otherwise.

Beside that, i found this pretty straight forward forum post that might help you: Fastsh.it Servers • View topic - Max # of open files
