Default What is considered to be active on trackers?

I am trying to keep al the trackers that are important to me open by at least once a month signing in and going to my profile on the tracker. But i am not entirely sure if that is considered to be active or if i need to download something once a month to avoid inactivity pruning. The rules are pretty clear on one of my trackers hd-torrents, you need to download at least 15 GB each 3 months. But i can't find anything on the subject on my other trackers.

Some trackers require you to download/upload few GBs per month, whereas the others ask you to log in only.
seeding is also good and it shows that you're active
Seed + login once a week.

Well some trackers have month download limit you will found that info in faq/rules or forums of the site but most of them are ok if you just login in time to time now the interactivity time is very different to site to site but the minimum i remember right now is preto.me 28 days if you won't login and your account is gone. Maybe there are sites that have lower interactivity time but most of them have 1-3 months time before your account is gone. It's very recommended that you made at least power user class on your tracker as some trackers than enable the park option of your account or they don't delete any power users. Also if you donated to the tracker you will be probably imune to account deleting. Also most of the trackers just disable your account so you can go the the irc and ask them politely to enable you again.

IPT power users are immune to account deleting due to inactivity ^^

The info is usually in the rules or FAQ under 'Will my account be deactivated/auto-pruned/disabled?'

However, your question doesn't make sense to me or perhaps I'm missing something. If the trackers are important to you then wouldn't you be using them? Otherwise what's the point of having membership? If you don't need a tracker within 30-90 days than I can't imagine it being that vital. Every 90 days (for some trackers) to login once is not too difficult, that's only four times a year. And that's just logging in for the sake of keeping your account active...

I'm not attacking you, I just don't understand why someone would need to ask that question.

Actually IPT PU accounts can be deleted (taken from IPT FAQ today):

    7. When are accounts
    auto-pruned?

Normal User: if member don't visit 1 month, account
    will be deleted automatically.
Power User: If member don't visit 3 month,
    account will be deleted automatically.

Thanks for the many and fast replies guys! Ill keep doing what i do now and keep a seeding a few torrents of each tracker. I was already thinking of donating some money to SCC, because its almost impossible to seed correctly to that tracker with my upload speed. Knowing i won't get banned for being inactive makes the deal a lot sweeter.

This was already mentioned above but you didn't mention on your summary--so to reiterate you still need to log into most trackers sites even when seeding. I don't know of a tracker where this is not true.

They are important to me, but as things stand right now i am out of space to do download anything that i am not planning on watching anytime soon (and no i am not gonna delete something to make room). I need to buy a new NAS system first and extra HDD's. But with the prices in the market for HDD's because of Thailand its gonna take some time before i have the money ready to buy everything at once.

Anyway since my questions have been answered ill close this thread.
