i am new to forums ( mainly Torrent site ) but i am intrested in owning one torrent site so pls help me out


1. how to create a torrent site ?
2. how to create private tracker ?
3. how to use seedbox ?
4. how to add files to server using FTP ?
5. how do torrent sites earn money ? who is d one who pays amount to them ( i heard for every torrent download the uploader gets .25 cents is this true )
6. finally how much amount i should invest in it ?

The questions you are asking are extremely general and would require and extremely long and indepth answer.

All private trackers use a source code which they modify in their own unique way. Trackers have various source codes, but one of the more popular ones is TBsource PHP/MySql Bit-Torrent tracker | Free Communications software downloads at SourceForge.net . It's written in PHP with MySQL as database system. This probably answers your 1st and 2nd question.

3. A seedbox is basically a remote torrent client sitting in a datacenter. It's hosted on a server and depending on the client you have installed you can access it through the web and use it like a normal torrent client. The most popular method to transfer your files to your home computer is FTP.

4. You need an FTP client and your server needs to have an FTP daemon installed as well (for example vsftpd). Usually you just need to drag and drop the specific files and they will be uploaded automatically, but write permissions have to be enabled.
