Thread: Questions about seedbox

My internet speed is pretty fast, and i manage to keep a really good ratio on all my trackers.
I just want to try out a seedbox and see what it's like.

My question is after i download a movie using seedbox, can i watch it without downloading it into my hard drive?
Is there any seedbox you recommend for me to try out for a good week?

I dont think you can watch it without downloading it. Even if you could stream it, it'd still use up bandwidth. If you have the means and interest, I highly recommend a seedbox. I got one about six months ago and I find it a little addictive as I'm always trying to fill request, help out the trackers and boost my ratio.

As for trying them out for a week, not all seedboxes let you do that. Of the three I've tried the minimum has been a month, but then again I'm not a big spender (~$15 USD per month)

You can watch it without downloading with VLC for example. Now, if it will be playable and not buffer that depends from speeds you can get from seedbox and the type of content you want to watch. BlueRay up to 50Mbps of steady line, 1080p video of size ~7GB something like ~12Mbps

^_^ My mistake, I guess streaming is possible...

One more thing to consider: if the movies you get are packed into rar files than you'll have to unpack them so that'll double the amount of space your movie will occupy in the seedbox

The whole point of seedbox is just to raise your ratio and that about it?

For example i thought i can download harry potter deadly hallow part 2 when it comes out.
and watch it from the seedbox, without buffering it / glitches / pauses.
