How do I play download PS3 games?
I am new to gaming torrent and I was wondering how do I play them? What do I need etc etc.. Thanks!!!
What you need is:
1. Downloaded game (in most cases as disc image)
2. Disc to burn that game on (DVD/Blu-Ray)
3.The most important thing - PS3 console :)
So you don't need to hack with the PS3 console at all? Are all the new gaming systems like this? I thought you had to hack ps2 to play downloaded games.Originally Posted by 8Tyler8

You need a jailbroken PS3 using the usb hack which is easily found with a google search. along with enough hd space for the games you download.
P.S - Don't expect to play games online easily as this is risking yourself and your machine.

You need to jailbreak your PS3.
Copy game to internal HDD or external FAT32 HDD. ALL Downloaded PS3 games are played from HDD not Disc.
Yeah, I've got a jailbroken PS3..
You will need to get a custom OS and a program like MultiMan or Ghia Manager and you won't be able to play games on-line at all as the is no hack at this present time.
First things first, what OS version do you have on there at the moment? If you have already updated past 3.55 it will not be possible to jailbreak your PS3 at all..
If you do have 3.55 or less on there already you will need to put the official 3.55 on a usb memory stick and enter recovery mode and install that, then go back and put the custom 3.55 firmware and MultiMan on the usb stick. enter the recovery mode again and install the firmware and multiman. Now you just need to put some games on your PS3 and you can play them.. If you decide to do this I would advise you get a 500GB hard drive (2.5") to replace to current hard drive in the ps3.
Send me a pm if you want to know where to get the custom fw from, it can be hard to find and if you get a dodgy one it can mabye brick your console..
